Kev approached Montana Decking with a vision: to transform his garden into a usable elevated space that aligned with his existing stone patio and boundary walls. The goal was to create a deck that not only maximised outdoor living space but also opened up a clear view of the marina at Glasson Dock — a stunning feature now visible directly from the back garden.
What We Delivered:
✅ Supplied and installed Ecodek Heritage Slate Grey composite decking
✅ Custom-built timber subframe to elevate the deck to match the patio and wall heightground
✅ Fitted fascia boards on front and side for a polished finish
✅ Added PVC balustrades on one side to frame the view and add safety
✅ Used weed-blocking membrane and joist protection tape to enhance longevity
The customer now enjoys a seamless extension of his outdoor living space, with a clean, modern deck that opens up the view to the marina at Glasson Dock. The balustrades provide both safety and style, while the slate grey finish complements the natural tones of the stone patio.
